Profil
Mediterranean atmosphere amid alpine scenery! Camping - in a different way - in a stylish, large park, at the foot of the mountain "Dachstein", along the lake with our own beach and a wonderful view of the historical town Hallstatt … (it is listed as a historical monument). The stock of trees, the reed-biotope and natural beach (legally protected) are an ideal starting point for hikers, mountaineers, climbers as well as canoeists, rafters, anglers, divers or paragliders! The whole campsite is legally protected. The station at the bottom of the "Dachstein-cable railway" to the "Eisriesenhöhle" (a cave with gigantic stacks of ice) is nearby.

From Germany: Motorway A1, exit Mondsee. Go on in the direction of Bad Ischl and Bad Goisern, turn off to Hallstatt. Go on through the tunnel at Hallstatt to Obertraun. At the place name sign "Winkl" our campsite is located … on the left-hand side ("Camping am See")!
