On the banks of the Dordogne, Le Plein Air des Bories is located in the Périgord Noir. The family campsite for a quiet holiday in an area that is nevertheless quite touristy. You are surrounded by castles, grottos and medieval … towns such as Sarlat-la-Canéda. Swim in the Dordogne or discover the river by canoe. And if the weather is unexpectedly a little less good? Then you can swim in the swimming pool, which has a sliding roof. Welcome to the region! Leave the A20 motorway at Souillac and drive into the Dordogne valley. The campsite Le Plein Air des Bories is located near the village of Carsac-Aillac, about ten kilometres south of the small town of Sarlat-la-Canéda. If you drive from this village towards the banks of the Dordogne, you will pass through a sparsely populated, rural area. This is where the campsite is located. Camping on the Dordogne Pitches with large touring pitches alternate with rental accommodation. Many pitches are bordered by hedges or shrubs and are sheltered by trees. The most beautiful pitches are right by the river. The Dordogne has wonderful water for swimming. It stays shallow for a long time at the shore. So if you are on holiday with small children, they can safely splash around in the river (under supervision). There is also a swimming pool at the campsite. When it rains, the sunroof closes. Entertainment For the younger guests there is an animation programme in the summer. You can enjoy the paella and barbecue evenings in the bar. There is also karaoke and dancing. If you want to eat out or go shopping, you can do so in Carsac-Aillac.

A20, exit Souillac. Take the D703 towards Sarlat. After Calviac, turn left towards the 'Vallée de la Dordogne'. In Carsac, pass under the railway bridge, then take the 2nd exit on the left. The campsite is signposted.
