Profil
This family campsite, located at 430 m altitude, near Volonne, a small Provençal village on the banks of the Durance, has breathtaking views of the surrounding Provençal hills. There is a water park with 2 slides, heated pools, a jacuzzi … and a paddling pool for toddlers. Camping Sunêlia l'Hippocampe has something for everyone, whether you are looking for an off-season sporting holiday in the beautiful countryside or a relaxing summer holiday on our flower-filled campsite. Besides spacious camping pitches, we have rental accommodation ranging from simple bungalow tents to luxury mobile homes. From July to the end of August, our entertainment team organises activities for young and old from early morning to late evening. The spa offers massages and various treatments. The restaurant is open from May to early September (opening times depend on the season), as are the bread and swimming pools.

By car: Leaving Grenoble, you take the A 480 and then the A 51 to Sisteron, then D 1075 in the direction of Sisteron via the pass “Lus la Croix-Haute”. Coming from the south, highway A 51 towards Sisteron (Gap), … exit Aubignosc, direction Château Arnoux and to the left Volonne. By train: TGV station in Aix en Provence and then the regular train to Château Arnoux/ Saint Auban, at 6 km from the campsite; no transfer so you should call a taxi. By plane: Marseille-Provence airport, at 1h15 from the campsite by the A 51 highway.
