It is situated by the sea in a very beautiful bay with a golden sandy beach. The name comes from a very big … sea cave which is more than 3 Km long. From the Grotta dell’Acqua Village, you can take beautiful trips and exursions to explore the rich art, history and natural beauty of the area, the sea caves of Gargano, Tremiti Island, the Umbra Forest and the lovely towns of Gargano, Vieste, Monte Sant'Angelo and St. Giovanni Rotondo where the Tomb of Padre Pio is situated and Peschici with its quaint old town.
